Chris Bosh, Antoni, The Shitty State of the Jets, and Wu Tang

I am going to start off with an apology for my laziness in terms of writing for this blog. I would like to blame it on school work, but I'm on spring break. With that said let us delve into my first topic Chris Bosh.

I used to be among the biggest of Chris Bosh haters. I thought he looked like a combination of an ostrich and a raptor (which is why he should have stayed in Toronto) and thought he was a soft ass pussy on the court. But I am now going to admit that I was wrong. While he still is an ugly mother fucker, his performance this year has been nothing short of outstanding. Unlike James and Wade, Bosh tends to avoid the spotlight and lets his performance on the court do the talking. This year, he averages 18.5 and 8.2. He could average more if he was a ball hog like the two egotistical stars of Miami. When Bosh was out due to a death in the family, the Heat dropped two straight. Yet when James and Wade were out, Bosh went ape shit and dropped 33 points in a victory against the Hawks. Chris Bosh does not get the credit he deserves. All the credit goes to Wade and James, yet Bosh has stepped up his shit and that needs some recognition.

You may be thinking to yourself, "Hey, Smoke Dragon Fink, you forgot the D in D'Antoni." I know I did, I did it on purpose. Until D'Antoni, Knicks put up a solid defense performance, I will be referring to the Pringles man as Antoni. As of now he does not deserve the D. The Knicks defense is the KEY reason why the Knicks have sucked cock as of late. Teams just seem to destroy us in the second half. Honestly its like the Knicks just come out of the locker room and forget to play defense. It didn't help that the Knicks always seem to be fouling. Giving teams free points due to foul shots is never acceptable. It didn't help that one of the two Knicks who actually play and are capable of playing defense sat out tonight. As much as I love Jeremy Lin, he is god awful at defense. That geriatric fuck Tony Parker ripped him apart tonight. This all comes down to coaching. Lin probably never learned to play defense at the NBA level. Since he is basically a rookie, this is slightly acceptable. But that does not change the fact that we should be seeing some progress. The past two games, we have seen Lin have less TOs, yet opponent PGs are shredding him. Melo is capable of playing defense, yet no coach in his NBA career has forced him to. Even Amare sucks at defense. The Knicks really need to step up their shit if they want to make a run in the playoffs. Teams with no defense do not go far in the playoffs. You need to shut key players down, something which the Knicks have not been capable of this season.

If you are a Jets fan and you think we are going to get Peyton Manning, you are wrong. The Jets do not have the cap room to sign this elite QB, so to me, it seems extremely unlikely. Even if he does come to the Jets, why would he want to play with a bunch of whinny assholes that the Jets locker room offers. I love the Jets with all my heart, but their locker room is about as unstable as people who go on the Maury Povich show. Even if Manning goes to the Jets, something terrible will happen to him. Mike Tannenbaum (major idiot who does not understand football or have any logic whatsoever) recently announced that he fully expects Wayne Hunter to start in the 2012 season. Is he fucking insane? Wayne Hunter has to be the worst player on the Jets offense by a LONG shot. He is awful. He is a BIG reason why Sanchez struggled late in the season. He gave up a shit load of sacks. He constantly missed blocks, which gave Sanchez what seemed like less than a second to make a decision and then throw the ball. Knowing the Jets luck, Hunter will miss a block and Manning will go down the first game and be out for the rest of the season. This shit has happened before. In the 1999 season, the Jets had "Super Bowl Hopes" with Testaverde under center. The Jets couldn't even make it through one quarter before Testaverde going down with a torn Achilles. Good things don't happen to the Jets. Look at the season with Favre, the other season the Jets had "Super Bowl  hopes." The Jets were 8-3 with for games left. Every one was lauding over how the Jets are the going to the Super Bowl and shit. Even I was, and I am very negative when it comes to Jets football. Then Favre through an interception and every thing went wrong. We ended up losing 4 of 5 games including one to the Miami Dolphins where they lost to Chad Pennington as he returned to New York to lead the fucking Dolphins to the playoffs. If I were Manning, I would avoid the Jets at all costs. Nothing good will come.

And of course, today is Wu Tang Wednesday. It is still Wednesday here in Utah so here goes it. Today's song is Triumph.
